Although Ramsey enjoyed the heated battles of the fron lines, he spent much of his mission time with recon aboard the GTD Starhawk. The Starhawk was a modified destroyer commisioned by the GTI specifically for covert ops. Aboard this ship, Ramsey claims to have discovered a conspiracy against the allied systems perpetrated by the GTI.
After being turned away by the GTI's Board of Investigation, Ramsey aparently decided to take matters into his own hands. recruiting young GTA and GTI pilots, Ramsey formed a rag-tag "union" to publically uncover any GTI conspiracies. His operations ended three months later when he was captured in Deneb with written plans for the assassination of GTI supporter Senator Taulus.
He was transported to Delta-Serpentis, away from the front lines of war, to await trial for treason and conspiracy of murder. Ramsey never stood trial. A squadron of Ramsey's pilots who had evaded capture freed Ramsey, and from Delta-Serpentis it was just a short jump back into Sol.
The Ramsey incident was quickly forgotten as the paper work of the T/V War buried the case.
For the past six years, Ramsey has been operating in Sol. A new Pirate Faction has been born from the paranoid ideas of Ramsey, the TFA, or Terran Freedom Alliance. It is Ramsey's opinion that the GTA is an oppressive beast, willing to sacrifice the individual for the greater cause. Instead of a galactic confederation of planets and systems, the TFA propose that each planet have it's own ruling government.
To achieve this, the TFA must first bring down the GTA. With the collapse of the Delta-Serpentis jump node, TFA attacks have become more violent and have steadily increased in frequency.
The tactics of the TFA usually involve hijacking supply convoys en route to GTA bases and redirecting them to planetary colonies. For these actions, the TFA has gathered a rather strong following among the civilians.
