TAMC
(Tactical Anti-Missile Cannon)

TAMC cannons are similar to the Vulcan Cannon. The purpose of the TAMC's is to defence Capital Ships from incoming missiles and bombs by flooding surrounding space with solid round projectiles.
The standard TAMC battery is comprised of three Vulcan style weapons. When hostile missiles are launched the battery begins firing automatically.
The three weapons fire in rotation, 200 rounds from each. As a pilot you know that not much is needed to destroy a missile, the difficulty is in successfully hitting it. The TAMC's solve this problem by fireing 550 rounds every three seconds, creating a wall of defensive fire.
